Frocks & Rocks Terms & Conditions

This contract sets out the terms and conditions by which we, Frocks & Rocks, hire garments and accessories to you, the hirer.
All items remain the property of Frocks & Rocks at all times and are provided to the hirer for the duration of the agreed hire period. It is the responsibility of the hirer to take reasonable care of any item hired to you.
- All garments and accessories supplied by Frocks & Rocks shall be supplied in good condition and free from damage, including staining.
- A security deposit is required to be paid by the hirer at the time of order placement. Frocks & Rocks will then guarantee that the item/s will be available for collection on the agreed date. In the unlikely event that the garment is damaged or stained by the hirer, the deposit will be retained by Frocks & Rocks until repairs or special cleaning has been completed. Please note: In the event of accidental spillage or other staining of any garment, the hirer must not, under any circumstances, attempt to clean the article. (This could result in irreparable damage to certain materials.) The hirer is obliged to notify Frocks & Rocks of any such incidence in order that the appropriate professional cleaning process may be followed.
- Upon hiring, the hirer accepts full responsibility for the care of the goods and agrees to reimburse Frocks & Rocks in full for any special cleaning (i.e. beyond the normal dry cleaning process) or repairs deemed necessary, or for the replacement of goods as a result of loss or theft to the goods whilst in the hirer’s care.
- The hirer shall collect and return the hired articles at the time or date agreed. Should any item not be returned by the agreed time/ date, Frocks & Rocks may charge an additional hire fee of 20% of the normal hire rate for each additional 24 hour period. Note however that the hire period may be extended by mutual agreement, at an agreed extra charge, to cover eventualities such as holidays, etc. Upon safe return of hired goods in a reasonable condition to Frocks & Rocks premises, the security deposit will be returned in full to the hirer.
- Frocks & Rocks cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to any article once it has been removed from the premises by the hirer.
- The hirer is not permitted to alter or modify any garments which have been supplied in accordance with the order.
- In the event of cancellation of an order by the hirer, provided at least 48 hours notice is given, no charge will be incurred. Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice but more than 24 hours will incur a charge of 50% of the normal hire rate. The full hire charge will be incurred for 24 hours notice or less. Cancellation charges may be reduced at the discretion of Frocks & Rocks management.
- In the unlikely event that Frocks & Rocks are unable to provide the ordered item/s on the agreed date, we will guarantee to provide at least 48 hours notice to the hirer. If we fail to notify the hirer, or provide less than 48 hours notice of unavailability, we will compensate the hirer to the normal hire charge of the item not available.
- All earrings hired by Frocks & Rocks are surgically cleaned between customers in accordance with Health & Safety requirements.
- In the unlikely event that Frocks & Rocks supply faulty garments or accessories, we will be happy to try to rectify the fault, provide like-for-like exchange, or provide a full refund at the management’s discretion.
This contract is governed by UK law and UK law courts shall have jurisdiction.
